     It is the mission of East Valley Education Center to provide the highest quality education to special education students in grades 6-12th in a manner that is respectful, effective, caring, and safe. We also want to assure that each student progresses academically, behaviorally, and emotionally in order to facilitate a smooth transition to a less restrictive environment.

     The vision of East Valley is to enable and empower our students with special needs to develop to their maximum potential in their school and community to become productive members of society.

Schoolwide Learner Outcomes

 

All East Valley students will:

 

Participate in a Variety of Activities

 

East Valley students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including:

  • Demonstrating math and language literacy, utilize effective problem-solving skills, and work collaboratively with others

  • Community involvement, personal wellness, global awareness, and social responsibility

  • Research in career fields, workplace preparation, and participating in job placement

  • Co-Curricular sports, the Arts, clubs, and community service

 

 

Demonstrate Social and Personal Responsibility

 

East Valley students will demonstrate social and personal responsibility by:

 

  • Being prepared, having consistent attendance, and engaging in social activities

  • Demonstrating discipline, self-control, and civility
